August Wednesday 18^th

Went ( in Phaeton) to Alloway
and prescribed for friend Caleb
Stabler and to Riverside where
I prescribed for Herbert Kirk
Gardener Boothe & Lola Iddings.
Afternoon I commenced painting
the wheels & Running gear
of the Phaeton (black) but the
Rain stopped me. after painting
two wheels - Dora, Willie & I
had a nice little practice, D
with the guitar, Willie with
violincello & I violin.

Thursday 19^th

Was called up early to go to
Mrs C B Scott's to prescribe for
her father. After breakfast went
to Alloway in Germantown, and
to Jno Ed Hill's in light buggy.
Afternoon went again to see
friend Caleb Stabler. at Alloway.
Charley went (after tea) to a
party at "Willie Brooke's" near
Rockville - thunderstorm about
9-30-

Friday 20^th

Went to Ashton, Alloway and
Butcher Hopkins home via Hollands
X Roads - Afternoon Bro;
Chas; & Lola Iddings called. She
expecting to leave for home tomorrow
I took Harriet Dora Edwd & Willie
in the Germantown to Brooke Grove
left Dora there at an "Archery
Meeting": and drove to Ashton before
coming home. After tea I
went (in open buggy) to Brooke
Grove" after his sister. Home
about 10-30.

Went to Ingleside Leawood
Mills. Mr. E Lawfords. Horace
Sedgwick's & North Fulford taking
Dora with me. Ernest came
over & brought "Billy" horse for
Charley to drive with "Count"
tomorrow to "Scamp Meeting"
