Afternoon, I drove to Riverside &
Homewood in the "Germantown"
taking Willie & Jim with me.
Alfred Jacobson here to play with
Willie.

Friday 24th

Drove to Cornelius Leizears'
Little Edward had the worst
attack of croup that he Ever
has had. H & I were up with
him nearly all night. I slept
none. Charley and Dora went
to Mt Olney to a "meet"
of the "Archery Club".

Saturday 25th

Edward again bad with
croup last night: was up
with him most of the night.
Drove to "Brighton" and Grove Hill
home to dinner. Susan Davis
here for advice for her child -
Drove to Ashton in little buggy.
Afternoon. After tea walked up
to the store and got muslin for bed
gown for H. writing paper &c &c

Sunday 26th

Edward quite "croupy" last night
again & I was awake with him
most of the night: he was much
better towards morning and I hope
the greatest danger has passed
for this time. Corneal Leizear
here reporting his father better.
Helen & Harry & baby here to
dine, Afternoon Charley took his
mother sister, Edwd, Helen & baby
in the Germantown to ride. Harry
& Helen concluding to stay all night
with us. Harry & Charley drove to
the Mill to see after affairs there
& back before bed time.
