Sept: Monday 27th 1880 S.W.

Harry Lea went home before
breakfast. I drove Helen &
baby down to Bloomfield and
then went to Ned Dave's and prescribed
for his child. Towards
Evening Charley drove over to
Scott's. Dr Sam Scott took tea
with us. Had some music
in the evening. Helen & Harry
being here with us again to
spend the night.

67º Cloudy and Rain
Tuesday 28th

Extracted a tooth for myself
last night before I could sleep.
And two (before breakfast) for Samuel
Leizear this morning.
Afternoon drove to E Davis'.
Walked up to store. Eliza
Bentley and Mrs Warfield called
to see Helen. Harry came
at tea time.

Wednesday 29th

Windy Autumn day.
Jno C Bentley came in last night,
& he, Harry Lea & Charley had some
music until quite late. I went
this morning in the Germantown
to Ed: Davis' and to Riverside
taking a stove from Ashton to
the latter place. Afternoon
took "Count" to Sam Budds' and
had two "new removes" behind.
Jim brought "Jeff" from Leawood
Mills for Dora & Helen to drive.
Martha Jane Powell called.

Thursday 30th

Drove to Edwd Davis and home.
Helen B Lea and Dora drove Jeff,
to Leawood Mills and back
After tea Charley drove away
somewhere.
