Heavy frost last night.
After breakfast I drove in
the phaeton to E Davis' and to
opposite Ed: P Thomas'. Afternoon
I was summonsed to an inquest
& made " post mortem"
examination of an infant
(colored male) born & made
way with on Geo: E Brookes place
and found in the "privy sink"
this morning. supposed to have
been born on Saturday night last.
Charley took his sister & Helen Lea
to "Norwood" to an Archery Meet:

Saturday 2nd

Drove to Sandy Spring. "Bloomfield"
and Ashton. Harry Lea here
for a short time. Mrs [Ele?] Leizear
here & had tooth extracted.
Joseph Hill here for advice & med.
Afternoon drove to "Fulford" .
Edith Bentley called to see
Helen. Walked up to store after
tea.

Sunday 3rd 1880

Andrew Powell (colored) here
for treatment for diarrhoea.
Dora & Helen L walked to "meeting"
Charley took Hallie Lea to meeting
in little buggy with the colt.
Harry took Helen to Fulford to
dinner. Afternoon Charley drove
me down to Ed: Davis' and then
drove Ernest to Granville Stablers
Harry & Helen came back to tea.
& spent evening. Helen staid all
night.

Monday 4th

About home all day.
Wash woman here. Mr Fry
called for advice & med.
I made Cinnamon water. Harry
called and took Helen and baby home.
She spent the morning and dined
at Bloomfield. Lizzie Iddings
& Mrs Jacobson called.
Jno King here for advice for wife.
