Had shafts put on the phaeton
and drove to Ashton & S Spring-
Charley at home in the evening
all went to bed early. Harriet
with bad headache.

Friday 22nd

Edward quite croupy last night
I laid in bed until late. Willie
did not go to school. He & Jonas
went to Scotts' & brought the colt
home. he having been there at
pasture just 5months & 2 days -

with me.) after which Charley
went to Riverside & Leawood Mills
& spent the day. Edwd Bentley
& Ellie Chandlee called in the
afternoon.
