Dec: Thursday 16th 1880

William S Bond came after
me to see & prescribe for his wife.
I went there and to Frederic
Stabler's (to prescribe for him) in
open buggy with both horses.
Charley got a new pair of skates
by express from "Peck and Snyders"

23o Clear N.W.
Friday 17th

Willie walked to school. I drove
to S.S. Ashton and sent Jonas
for the milk to Fulford & for Willie.
Heard of the death of our dear cousin
Deborah Archer who died on the 10th inst
whilst on a visit to Wellsborough. Wrote
to Dr. Archer. After tea Charley drove
"Major" to Bloomfield, the Cedars &c.
Harry called about dinner time to
say that Helen and the baby would not
be likely to return before Sunday.
Recd a letter from Bro: William.

30o Cloudy Sleet &
Saturday 18th

Drove to Ashton in the phaeton
with both horses intending to go to
M S Bond's but the horses were too
smooth to stand up & I came back and
after having "Count" shod at S Budds
I drove him to open buggy taking
Willie with me. Had Major shod
at Sam: Budds. Patty B Stabler
called at the gate. Harriet Dora &
myself made and put on "lining
and edging" for my buffalo Robe.
Walked up to the store. Harry Lea
took supper with us & went to the
store to help them in the evening.
Walked up to the store again after tea.

22o Clear N.W.
Sunday 19th

Charley & I drove both horses in the
open buggy to Frederic Stablers.
Ernest here to dinner after which he
and Charley went on horseback to Sharon).
Harry and Helen came after dinner.
Harry here to dinner & went to
"Bloomfield" and brought Helen & baby
up here. Beulah & Thomas Lea and
Ernest took tea with us. After tea
Charley and Ernest went after "crowfoot".
