Beautiful "Easter Sunday"
Bro. Richard & Sister Lizzie
called on way to meeting
Dora & Willie went to church
at Mechanicsville before
dinner & to Brighton afternoon
taking tea at E Peirce's.
Hallie Bentley called to see
Dora. I wrote to Sister Mary & walked
up to the Post Office
and toll house before supper.
Am feeling better than I did
yesterday & hope I shall escape
the "grippe" this time if I can
take proper care of myself
for several days longer and
not take cold.

Cloudy & Clear

I was called up & drove before breakfast to
Jno Lethbridges to arrest a hemerohage
in the face of Jno. Lethbridge Jr:
(Willie going with me.)
I also went to see Bernard
Sheckells, he having sent for
me. Luther Muncaster came &
dined here. Willie planted four
rows of potatoes in the garden
I walked to Ashton & rode home
with Wallace Bond as he went to
dinner. John Armstrong, a man
who has charge of a fine "stock
horse
" at "Brooke Grove" was
here for advice & medicine for
"sore throat." Willie went home
with Luther Muncaster
to spend the night.
