Ther 40 oTHURS. APRIL 6th, 1893 Wind N.E

Cooler weather. Charley & Mr Bolyn
left here soon after 5. o'clk this am for
Balto. to "ship" the Lawrence horse on the
Boston Steamer this evening. C drove
"Belle" to Ellicots City. & will go from there
by Rail. Mr. Bolyn to ride his horse
from there to Balto: Willie Rode "Socks"
to E. Peirce's to dinner. Afternoon I recieved
a telegram from C saying he
would not return tonight. the horse
being "off its feed" they were afraid
to "ship it." Edwd Davis sent us another
1/3 of a cord of green hickory wood;
Willie also went to J J. Shoemaker's
and saw him about my getting
some straw. he promised to send
me a load tomorrow. J Hill
having said nothing to him
about it or it would have been
sent sooner, so he told Willie.

Cloudy & Rain
Ther. 40 FRI. APRIL 7th, 1893 NE Wind

Rainy & disagreeable most
of the day. Charley returned from
Baltimore about dinnertime.
Afternoon Willie drove over to
see some parties & try to "collect"
some money for me. Chas Addison
paid him $3.50.
