Cloudy
Ther. 63 SAT. APRIL 8th, VariableWind

Cloudy & warmer. Charley left
for "Lincoln" Va. at 6-30 a.m. taking
Dora with him to Gaithersburg where
she will take cars to Washington D.C.
Charley exchanged his "Socks" horse
for an "old Jay bird" of a sorrel horse
from Ed Gilpin, the horse he gets is
of good stock, and if he does not turn out
to have some bad traits after he
gets some rest and flesh on his bones,
he may do good service for C. and
the one he is parting with is of no
use at all to him. I walked down
to Ashton for some "vaccine points"
and after dinner drove to "Marden"
& vaccinated all three of R R Moore
Jr's children, it being the 3d time
for the two boys but the first for
the baby. Willie worked in the
garden hauling & spreading manure etc.

Cloudy
Ther. 56o SUN. APRIL 9th, 1893 Variable Wind

It rained several times during
last night & early this morning.
Willie walked to E Peirce's
before dinner.
