Ther. 40 MON. APRIL 10th, 1893 S.E. Wind

This has been a rainy day
except in the afternoon it
ceased for a time. Edward
had his face poisoned during
his walk with Hilles after
"hawks' eggs" on saturday,
and is the worse case I ever
saw, his eyes being closed
& face twice as large as usual.
He cannot go to school or
out of the house. After
supper Willie went to Edwd
Peirce's to stay tonight and to
help him tomorrow do some
carpenter work.

Cloudy dull day. I felt
miserable this morning, stiff
and Rheumatic when I first got
up. Edwd's face is so swolen
that he cannot go to school.
I Rode up to Marden.
Robt. Tyson called to see
me. Willie is at E Peirce's
helping him do carpenter
work.
