Still very cool for the time of year
I worked at fixing the office porch
steps, I finished putting lattace
in the angle formed by the end
of the steps. W commenced pulling
down the carriage shed at
East side of the stable. Alice
Peirce brought Fanny & left
her to go to a dance this evening
with Dora, Willie & Edwd
at Grange Hall Olney. George
Webster was here & had tooth
extracted just at "dusk"

Ther. 41o Fri. May 19th, 1893 N.W. Wind

Quite cold the children
got home last night at 12.o'clk.
I had an attack of "night-mare"
last night the worst I have had
for a long time. Tax Collector
Waters called. Lizzie Franklin
was here for advice & medicine.
Afternoon I finished fixing the office
steps. Rev. Mr Laird called & Luther
Muncaster came to supper. Willie
went to see a game of Base Ball
at "Sherwood" Dora & Fannie Peirce
were at the Library morning and
afternoon. Mary Tasko was here for
advice & medicine. Gilbert Smith Sr
called. After supper Willie took
Fanny Peirce home driving "Frank"
to the phaeton.
