Clear & Cloudy
Ther. 70 Thurs. June 15, 1893 Wind Variable

This has been a very warm day.
I worked in the garden as much
as I could stand. After noon
towards evening John came and
harrowed the rye patch over
smoothing it as well as he could
it having been very roughly ploughed.
I was called to prescribe
for Old Mrs Oldfield. Chas
E Bond came to the office
after supper for something to
relive a burned finger of
one of the young lady performers,
at the Lyceum. Edwd went
to the Lyceum to some kind
of an amaeture performance
there. I walked up to the
store for coffee & sugar. We
expectd Hannah Archer in
the stage this evening but she
did not come.

Cloudy & Rain
Ther. 66. Fri. June 16th, 1893 S.E. Wind.

Disagreeable & rainy most
of the day. I worked some in the
garden between the showers.
Cousin Hannah Archer came
in the afternoon stage.
