Still cloudy & threatning
rain. Mr C Colt sent for me
& I drove down & applied dry
cups to his back. I left the
Surry at Ents shop to be painted
& varnished, I brought my
phaeton home, it having been
newly painted etc. I went up
to the store & P.O. Mr: White
succeeded in selling all of the
Shares of Stock in his Percheron
horse. 25 shares at $100.00 each
he is to deliver him at Clagett
Holland's stable to day or on
monday next. Alice & Fanny Peirce
called in afternoon.

Beautiful morning. Eliza
Proctor (daughter of Rachel) was
here for advice & medicine before
breakfast. Bro: Richd called
after meeting. Afternoon I drove
over to "Riverside" in the phaeton
taking cousin Hannah Archer
with me, we called at "Homewood"
& home to supper. Ernest
expect to return to Philadelphia
tonight. Mrs Robison came
over & spent the evening.
