Another very hot day. Edwd went
to Ashton on horse back to take the
book club book down. A Mr:
"Sherbert" drove from Baltimore
to Mrs Robison's & put one of his
horses in our stable for the night.
Little Donald Gilpin spent the
morning playing with "Bessie"
and dined with us.
It looked very much like Rain
in the afternoon but the Rain
went South of us.

Still dry & dusty. Bro Richd
called before meeting time, and
Returned to Riverside without
going to Meeting on account of the
high wind & dust. Afternoon
Willie took Dora & little Bessie
to church at Brighton. Mr:
"Sherbert" left Mrs Robison's for
Baltimore about 9.30 this morning.
taking his little girl with
him. Chas Bond called to
consult me for an injured finger
("playing Base Ball)". John
Grimes wife sent "Franks" wife
to Me for advice & Medicine
for herself (Mrs Grimes).
