Cloudy - all day
Ther. 31o SUN. NOV. 12th, 1893 Wind E.
I had expected yo go down
stairs today, if only to return
immediately, but I feel very
weak and the weather is very
raw and cold. I did not see
anyone except H & E. Alice & Fanny
Peirce called afternoon, also
Luther Muncaster. Edwd
gave the little dog "Ginger" an
electric shock, that frightened
us all & hurt the dog considerably.
This the first I have
written (or have been able to
write) for just two months.

Cloudy
Ther. 30o MON. NOV. 13th, 1893 Wea. S.E.
Very dull gloomy day, both
yesterday & today: I am not feeling
quite as well. No one called.
Afternoon "John" was here and
came up to see me for the first
time and sat some time.
In the evening (after tea) "Phil"
came up & sat some time with
me. I am feeling somewhat
weaker from some cause and
did not walk farther than across
the room from the bed to chair.
The weather cleared off towards
evening.
