Real "wintry cold", ground hard
froze. I fear most of the fruit
has been killed. I went to the
store & P.O. Afternoon I went to
a meeting of the "Physician's Social
Club" which met at Dr R
Brooke's new house. I walked
to the Club & rode home with
Dr [Cissell]. We had quite a
large meeting, all members being
present and several invited
guests, Drs Lewis, Jones, and
Nickols, among the number.
