58° Ther. SAT. MAY 14th, 1898 Variable Wind.

Clear & bright all day. I went
to Fairall's shop & to the store &
P.O. both morning & afternoon.
Edwd worked in the garden.
Towards evening Willie & Fanny
& the baby came in time for supper.
After supper Willie & I went to
the store & toll house.
I took "Charley" horse to Fletcher
Clark's shop & had a shoe put on
his left hind foot, taking the shoe
with me. I took my new patent
leather shoes to Fairall's & left them
to be streached or "lasted".

Cloudy & Rain.
60° Ther. SUN. MAY 15th, 1898 S.E S.W. & N.W. Wind.

It rained most of last night &
this morning at intervals until
near noon & continued cloudy &
threatning until towards sun set
when it cleared off beautifully.
It thundered quite heavily this
morning early. Fanny & Dora &
the baby took W's jagger & horse &
drove to "Fairfield" calling on their
way at "Atholwood". Willie going
with them on his bicycle. Edward
drove up to "Fairfield" later in the
afternoon to bring Dora home.

E & I went to meeting (in the rain)
this morning, the meeting was very
small on account of the rain.
I walked up to Henderson's in the afternoon.
Frank Hopkin's wife (Annie) was
here for advice & medicine for his infant
daughter. Dora & Edwd came home
about 8 - 30 p.m.
