Cloudy.
64° Ther. TUES. MAY 24th, 1898 SE & N.W Wind.

Cloudy part of the day, but clear
between times, and about sun set
the wind came from N.W. and it
cleared off. Edwd & "Phil" ran
the cultivator over the parts of
both our lots & Mrs. R's, that are
planted. I have been suffering
with head ache all day and
feel "sorer" in all my limbs.
Went to the P.O. & toll house
before & after supper. Edwd.
& Harry Fairall put up a wire
between my office & Fairall's
house for telegraphing. I put up
medicine for Frank Cook's little
girl. Jas.T Henderson went to
Rockville on public school business.

Clear.
65° Ther. WED. MAY 25th, 1898 Variable Wind.

Beautiful clear morning. I went
to the mill & to the store & P.O.
Mary Hallowell & Mortimer Stabler
will have a lovely day for their wedding
which is to take place to day.
Worked with the lawn mower around
the house. After supper went to the toll house.
H & Edwd planted more corn in the lot.
