Cloudy.
58 Ther. THURS. MAY 26th, 1898 N.E. Wind.

Cloudy, & much cooler. I rode
on horseback to "Eldon" to see Fanny
Dickinson & came home the "back
Road" past "Osceola". Edwd & Harry
Fairall worked again at fixing up
their telegraph wire & the "grounded
wire" into the well. I worked again
at cutting the grass with the lawn
mower. Edwd also worked at it
after helping his mother plant
more corn etc. in the lot. After
supper I went to the toll house.
Went up to Henderson's before supper.
Harry Fairall was here in evening
to see Edward.

59° Ther. FRI. MAY 27th, 1898 N.W. Wind.

Beautiful clear day, cool
enough to be pleasant. I went
to Fairall's shop. Willie called
here & drove on to "Scotts", also called
as he returned. Towards evening
Edwd drove to "Fairfield" and back,
after which he rode on horse back
to "Mt Airy" to the winding up
Meeting of the "Phrenaskia"
After supper I went to the toll house.
