Ther. FRI. JUNE 3d, 1898 N.E. Wind.

Charles Hill was here again for
advice & medicine for his wife.
After dinner I went to Ashton in
the stage and walked back. Went to
the store & to the baker's. Dr A
Stabler called & I went with him
to the Monthly Meeting of the
"Doctor's Club" which met at Dr
George Cook's house. we had a
very pleasant & full meeting all the
members being present. I was
called upon to preside. Recd: letter
from T.H. Borden and also a large
valise full of nice clothes, etc. it
really was an elegant present.

Clear & Cloudy
67 Ther. SAT. JUNE 4th, 1898 N.E. Wind.

Mailed letter to T. H. Borden by
the early mail. Went to A. F. Fairall's
office & executed "vouchers" etc for the
Pension bureau & mailed them
in the 2.o'clk p.m. mail.
The weather has been changeable
& threatning most of the day
with some sunshine towards
evening one or two light showers
but not enough to lay the dust.
Willie & Fanny & baby came
in time for supper. After
supper W & I went to the store
& toll house.
