Another fine day. Edwd
came home from "Fairfield"
before dinner. I cut grass
at Oldfield's & Edwd wheeled
it home. Alcinda Thomas
was here for advice & medicine
for her Mother. I prescribed
for Frank Cook's infant and
put up medicine for it.
Went to the toll house again
after supper. Sister Lizzie
& Richard Lea's wife called.

68° Ther. WED. JUNE 8, 1898 S.E. Wind

Still clear & dry quite hot
most of the day, especially
afternoon. I do not feel at all
well. Went to the store & P.O.
before & after noon. Edwd went
to Mary Gilpins to fix a curtain
for her. After supper I
went to the toll house. Willie
called after supper. bringing
us some butter & strawberries.
