Cloudy & Clearing
70 Ther. THURS. JUNE 9th, 1898 N.W. Wind

Cloudy & threatning rain this
morning but cleared off during
the afternoon. I went to A. F.
Fairhall's office was much disappointment
to find my pension
check was delayed because
he had made a mistake in
sending his certificate of office
as Justice of the peace, and
it was returned for correction,
which occasions considerable
delay. Went to mill for flour
& corn meal. After supper I
went to the toll house moved
some more grass for the home in
Oldfield's lot. I has been very
warm or hot today in the sun-
shine. but a nice breeze.
