Went to the store & to Jas. Scott's, where
I found the little "toy terrier" dog
"Bruce" & paying his wife 50 cents for it.
I brought it home for Harriet and
Dora to take "Ginger's" place.

70° Ther. TUES. JUNE 14th, 1898 S.E. Wind.
After an early breakfast Edwd
& I left in Willie's jagger driving
"Charley". for Laurel. where I took
the 9-11 train for Baltimore
where I arrived at 10.o'clk & went
to 251 W Preston St & found my
friend Frederic Tyson at home
& expecting me. Afternoon we
went to Druid Hill Park and in
the evening to Music Hall where
we were amused by Japanise
performances & a "Cake Walk"
