F Tyson & I went to call upon
D^r Gilbert T Smith in "Old Town"
& with him went to see the man
& family who in a "house wagon"
had traveled nearly all over the
U.S. having been on the road
for four years. with his wife &
four children, two of whom were
born on the road. In the evening
we went to call at Isabella
Tyson's where we met T. M. Smith Jr.

I went to Gilpin Langdon & Co's
drug store for some medicines etc.
Afternoon F Tyson & I went again
to the Park & back to 251 Preston
St in time for dinner at 6.o'clk.
We spent the evening there
talking over "old times" & old
friends.
