Cloudy.
68° Ther. SUN. JUNE 19th, 1898. Variable Wind.

Several light showers last night
& was threatning this morning,
but the sun came out & it was quite
warm until towards sunset
when it looked as if we would
have a gust, but it only blew
quite a gale for a time, after
which it cleared off cooler.
Edwd & I went to meeting and heard
a sermon from Edwd Farquhar.
Willie, Fanny & baby came and
took dinner with us, going back
to "Fairfield" before supper.
I walked up to Henderson's after
supper and Edwd walked over
to "Mt Airy" to a "Singing" class.
An Italian beggar called at the
door this morning.

Clear
69° Ther. MON. JUNE 20th, 1898. N.W. Wind.

Clear & much cooler weather all
day. Willie came on bicycle & rode my
horse over to Edwin Davi's, after which
Edwd & Phil Robison used the horse to
go over both of our truck patches with
the cultivator or double shovel.
Edwd drove to "Riverside" & staid there
until after dinner. Afternoon Fanny
Dickinson called, Annie Lea bringing
her. Charlotte Budd was here
for letter from me to aid her in
getting into hospital in Washington.
Willie called again about
supper time, having come to mill
for flour etc. I went to the toll house
after supper. I have suffered
with headache for several days
almost constantly.
