blowing from the South makes it
pleasant during the forenoon. I

she owed me. "Ida Stanton" (child's

About six o'clock we had a
thunder gust, and a delightful
rain, which was much needed
to refresh growing crops & lay
the dust. After supper I went
to the store & toll house.
The thermometer stood at 96°
in the shade at 3.o'clock p.m.
