73° Ther. MON. JUNE 27th, 1898. Wind

I was up quite early this morning
(4-30) and walked down
to Edwd Bentley's after feeding
the horse to see about getting
his "dayton" to send for Dora, but
found no one up but the dog (at 5-30)
and came back as I went.
Edwd went & got "Old John's and
left for Kensington & Washington
at 7-30. Afternoon Willie
& Fanny & baby came to spend
the night. Lizzie Scott called
Dora & Edwd arrived about 8
0'clock. Old John came & took
his Dayton after dark.
We are all delighted to have
Dora at home again after her
visit to Philada, Oxford & to
Lancaster Co. Pa. she was gone
nearly six weeks.

Willie & Fanny & baby left
for "Fairfield" after breakfast.
Edwd took his mother & sister
(in the Surry) over to "Eldon" to
see Fanny Dickinson again
before she returns to Wellsboro.
they came home in time for
lunch. Mrs. Robison came in
to see Dora. I went to the P.O.
and after supper to the toll
house. Edwd went to John C
Bentley's in the afternoon to
practice some music with
Mrs Bentley.
