Not quite so hot as several
days past. Heavy rain storms
passed south of us yesterday,
afternoon but we had no rain
except a light "sprinkle".
I went to the P.O. and took
the phaeton to Barne's shop to
have serve work done to the
wheels & left it there. Afternoon
Frank wife was
here with her child for advice
& medicine for it. they
live on A Farquhar's place. in
the same house with Kate
Matthews. Went to the store
after supper. Lizzie Scott
was here to see Dora.

This has been a lovely summer
day. I went to Fairall's office
& to the store & P.O. Afternoon
Lizzie Scott was here again to
see Dora. After supper Edwd
went next door to attend telephone
for "Phil" who went to the
rivers with some other boys.
Willie & Edwrd Peirce called
here this afternoon on their way
to Esq Fairall's.
