Clear & Cloudy
Ther. 75 THURS. JULY 21st, 1898 Wind Variable
Clear early this morning, the
sun was shining bright here at 10. o'clk
while at Gaithersburg it was raining
hard. We could see the clouds
in the west, but it did not reach
us until 4. o'clk afternoon and
then did not amount to much
seeming to have divided & gone
north & south of us. Afternoon
Martha Clark was in the office
for advice & prescription.
Cousin Annie Chandlee called
after supper being out for a
ride with the Leadbeaters.

Ther. 76 FRI. JULY 22d, 1898 Wind S.E.
Looked much like rain all
forenoon bu cleared off again.
Edwd came home from "Fairfield"
before dinner & went to the shop
& brought the phaeton home and
I washed it ready for painting.
Afternoon E took his aunt H to
"Fairfield" to take tea. After
supper I went to the store to see
the afternoon papers of Washington
