Cloudy & Rain
Ther. 68 FRI. AUG 12th, 1898 Wind Easterly
It was cloudy this morning
but looked like clearing off
until towards noon which it
commenced raining again
and continued all the rest
of the day & evening, part of
the time raining very hard
making a flood in the Rivers.
Willie brought Edwd home
before it commenced raining
but went back as soon as it
began. I went to the store
P.O & c morning & afternoon
also to the bakers and in at
Mrs. Robison's. The party that
went to "Folly Quarter's" to spend
several days, must be having a
doleful time, we are glad that
Edward did go with them.
