Edwd came in before midnight
last, he & I went to the meeting this
morning which was silent except
for a few words from {Sardie?} Miller
Edwd Farquhar is away up on
his "summer outing".
Afternoon E rode with "Phil"
& Frank Robison (on their bicycles)
up to Brighton & back
before supper. I walked up
to Henderson's. In the evening
Phil & Frank came in to get
E to develope some photographs
they had taken at different
times.

Ther. 69o MON. AUG. 15th, 1898 Wind E.
Cloudy this morning & cleared
off in afternoon. Afternoon old
John was here for advice & medicine.
Edwd rode bicycle to Brighton.
"Arch" Hopkin's brother was here in
the evening to see me about going
to see "Arch" at the penitentiary
in Baltimore. I went up
to the toll house after supper.
Walter Iddings called here in
the afternoon & left us some
plums Lizzie sent us & also
some butter.
