Ther. 68o SAT. AUG. 20th, 1898 Wind
Alice Peirce drove over &
brought some milk for the baby
& c. I worked fixing carriage
on phaeton top, the greater part of
the day. Went to Fairall's
shop & to the store & bakers
The weather has been much
cooler & more pleasant.
Willie seems decidedly better
but feels "weak & tottering.
I went to the store again after
supper.

Ther. 65o SUN. AUG. 21st, 1898 Wind S.
Quite cool early this morning
but was much warmer towards
noon, feeling quite sultry again.
Edwd & I went to meeting, which
was another "silent" one. After
meeting Edwd rode bicycle over
to "Fairfield" & drove "Sallie" back
bringing the bicycle back with
him. Willie & Fanny drove the
jugger to "Fairfield" and Edwd
rode the bicycle again up to
"Fairfield" intending to stay
there tonight & go to Rockville
tomorrow to tune a piano for
a Mrs John Wilson and bring
dora home from there; She is
to come from Brunswick to
Rockville tomorrow afternoon
on her way home. I wrote to
F. Tyson & T. H. Borden
