Still quite cool. F Tyson, Edwd
& I went to meeting and heard
an exellent sermon from Edwd
Farquhar. Afternoon G. T. Smith
called. F. Tyson drvoe over to
call at "Plainfield" & "Pen Y. Bryn"
and back to supper.
I walked up to Henderson's
There has been a great change
in the temperature within
the past few days, when it
was too hot for either pleasure
or comfort.

Willie came from "Fairfield"
in his "jugger" to go to Kensington
to meet Ida & the children and
he & Edwd (the latter driving
"Charley" to the surry & going for
Dora) left here about 9 -o'clk
and returned about 8- p.m.
withour either Ida or Dora
there having been some mis-
understanding and they did
not come to Washington as
expected. After supper, Warwick
Stabler came & we had a game
of euchre, about 4 o'clock Dora
arrived having come to Kensington
via Bruswick & hired
a conveyance, reached here
safely ! much to our delight.
