Cloudy & Clearing
Ther. 60o WED. SEPT. 21, 1898 Wind N.E.
Much cooler today and
continued to grow cooler all day.
I went to the store & P.O. several
times. Willie came on his bicycle
and took Dora a ride on Miss
Mary Fowler's "tandem" bicycle
going back to "Fairfield" after lunch
After supper Dora & Edwd went
on to Mrs: Robison's to spend the
evening with Miss "Mary Tripp"
Fowler. I have taken cold and
feel some what "under the weather"
with rheumatic pain and
generally good for nothing.

Cloudy
Ther. 61 THURS. SEPT. 22d, 1898 Wind S.E.
Cloudy & threatening rain all
day. Edwd drove to "Fairfield"
in the open buggy to help Willie
about his weaving. I went to
the P.O. morning & afternoon.
Walter Iddings called & left
a bundle for Sister H. Towards
evening it commenced raining
and has every appearance
of making a rueing night.
I walked to Ashton & back
towards evening for some
coffee. I have suffered with
headache all day.
