Cloudy & threatening this morning
Willie & the baby came & took sister
Harriet to "Eldon" before lunch.
I went to meeting & heard a sermon
from E Farquhar. Edwd & Alex
Lunsford went to the "little meeting"
After lunch Edwd & Dora went to
church at CrowTown. Alex
Lunsford left here at 1-05 p.m.
for Lincoln Va. I walked up
to Henderson's in the afternoon.
Malcolm Kirk Jr & wife called at
the door to enquire for sister H.

Foggy & Clearing
Ther. 64o MON. SEPT. 26th, 1898 Wind Changeable
Quite foggy early this morning
Edwd took Dora & the two Mary
Fowler's to a sort of "Picnic" (gotten up
by Sallie Ellicott) on the river. they
went after early dinner or lunch.
Ellen Stabler called to see Dora.
Afternoon Richard Lea's wife (Annie)
& Alice Dickerson called & also
Miss Fanny Kirk & Mahlon Jr's wife
& child. Cornelius Hart came
& paid a ballance he owed me.
Edwd & Dora & part came home
about 4-45 p.m. We had some
showers rain. Elizabeth
Stabler also called to see sister
Harriet.
