Clear and beautiful day. Edwd
drove down to Hopkins below
Colesville to repair & tune a piano
Sarah Wright came to wash for H -
Mrs Mary Willis Kirk & daughter
called to see sister H - I went to
the store, P.O. and to Barne's
shop. Sarah K Stabler called to see
sister H Edwd came home before
supper having met with an acident
in coming, the horse fell down in
front of Alf Bell's, breaking the
harness & c I went with him and
helped him home with the buggy
After supper I went to the store
and toll house.

Another lovely autumn day
Mahlon Kirk Jr came and took
Sister Harriet & Dora to "Woodburn"
to dine by invitation. Edwd drove
to "Fairfield" and returned after
dinner and then drove to
F Clark's shop & had a shoe put on
the horses "off hind foot" and from
there to "Woodburn" via Oakdale
where he left some carpet for Willie
and brought sister H & Dora home
before supper. After supper
Mary E Gilpin & Kate Stabler
came & spent the evening. I
walked home with them by
moonlight.
