Drizzling rain all fore noon
at intervals. Sister Harriet left
in the morning stage for Laurel
& Philadelphis. I went to the
store & P.O & to Fairall's office
Afternoon I walked to Ashton
and back. Went to the mill
for horse feed. Mrs Robison
was in the office to see me.
After supper I walked up to
the toll house. Edwd rode
over to "Mt. airy" to a meeting
of the "singing class".

Still cloudy & "drizzly" warm
& muggy. I went to Fairall's office
& to the store.. Afternoon Willie,
Fanny & the baby came. Willie
went on to spend the night with
Luther Muncaster, leaving F
& the baby here. The sun
shone out several times but
soon clouded over again and
showered. After supper I walked
to the toll house. Elea Farquhar
called in the evening to see
Fanny about weaving some
carpet.
