Ther. 65 WED. OCT. 5, 1898 Wind Variable
Still warm & "muggy"
Willie came from Luther
Muncaster's where he staid
last night & he & Fanny went
back to "Fairfield" before
dinner. Afternoon Edwd
also went to "Fairfield" to
spend the night, we had
quite a heavy shower soon
after E started. I went to the
mill for flour. Edwd Easton
cut wood at woodpile.
I went to store & P.O. several
times & also to Fairall's office.

Clear
Ther. 58o THURS. OCT 6th, 1898 Wind N.W.
It cleared off last night with
the wind from N.W. and is clear &
fresh this morning. I walked
down to Henry Thomas' to see old
Charlett Budd. Mended the
office porch floor. Edwd & A Peirce
came before dinner. Afternoon Willie
& Fanny & baby came. Annie Lea
& Alice Dickenson called. We had
invited a few young folks to tea.
Mrs Robison & Miss M Fowler &
Bessie & Miss Mary Tripp Fowler &
Miss Amy Crosby & Sally Ellicott
& Walter Iddings & Ms Edwin
Adams all took tea with us and
Frank Robison. All
seemed to enjoy themselves very much
Edwd took Alice Peirce home and
Willie staid with F & the baby, the
latter having a bad cold & was
more restless & fretful than usual.
