Clear & bright today. Edwd
& I went to meeting & heard
a sermon from Edwd Farquhar
Afternoon I walked up to Jus.
Henderson's Willie & Fanny
did not come over today,
there being service in the church
at Brighton (St Lukes) this
morning.

Clear & cooler weather. Willie
came over feeling quite unwell
with sore throat and rheumatic
pain & c. Edwd drove over to
Riverside and spent the day
there, coming home in time for
supper. I went to the store &
P.O. & to Fairall's office & toll
house, where I arranged with
F Cook to settle Hewitts
bill for $3.50 for which I
gave him credit on my account
for professional services.
Harriet & Dora put up preserves
& c Mrs Robison went to
Baltimore in early stage and
Laurel. After supper the two
Mary Fowlers came in. Edwd
rode over to Mt Airy to a meeting
of the singing class.
