Ther. 58o WED. OCT. 12th, 1898 Wind N.W.
It rained & blew hard after about
11. o'clk last night & continued
until near day light this morning
when it cleared off and has been
a beautiful day except for high
wind from N.W. I went to the
P.O. saw Joseph Stabler and turned
the horse "Charley" out in his field
beyond Sherwood School House
to pasture. Dora has a severe
attack of sick headache today.
The colored people had some kind of a
procession & marched past here with
a "band" from Baltimore which is to
give a concert at "Sharp St" tonight.
After supper I went to the store and
to Fairall's office. There will be a
frost tonight if the wind goes down
Edwd went to Saml Thomas' this
afternoon to fix their electric bells.
