Clear & Cloudy
Ther. 50o TUES. OCT 25th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Still fine weather, but towards
evening it cleared off & looks
like more rain. Went to store &
P.O. Elizabeth Stabler came to
consult me about an injury to
one of her feet. Afternoon Kate
Matthews brought her little
daughter for advice & medicine
I walked to Ashton & rode back
with Albin Brooke. After supper
I went again to the village.

Rainy & Cloudy
Ther. 51o WED. OCT. 20th, 1898 Wind SE & N.W.
It rained about midnight last
but stopped before daylight and
was "foggy" this a.m. until about
11. o'clk when it commenced
raining again until
tonight. the wind having
changed to N.W. but still raining
at intervals & cloudy.
Kate Stabler was here to see Dora
soon after breakfast, and Lizzie
Scott also here about dusk.
I went to the store & P.O. before
& afternoon called at Fairall's
& brought home home (on my feet) a
pair of new boots he has made
for me.
