Clear & Cloudy
Ther. 38o FRI. NOV. 4th, 1898 Wind S.E.
I was sent for & went down to
"Jim" Hills to prescribe for a
little girl of Annie Hill's, soon
after breakfast. Edwd went in
next door to help them attend to
the telephone "switch board".
Afternoon I went to the store &
P.O. & to Fairall's office.
I also tuckered up the stalls in
the stable & c.

Foggy & Clearing
Ther. 45o SAT. NOV. 5th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Very foggy this morning until
towards noon when it cleared off.
I went to Fairall's office and
revaccinated his little girl
"Naomi" with virus from Dr Brooke
from Dr Alexander's Marietta Pa.
Snowden Thompson sent us a cord
of oak wood (good wood & honest
measure). Afternoon I walked to
Ashton & back also went to "Jim"
Hill's again to see Annie Hill's
little girl. Willie brought Fanny
& the baby and after supper went
back to "Fairfield" leaving Fanny
& the baby here. I went to the
store & to Fairall's after supper.
Went to the mill for flour this
morning. It looks like more
rainy weather before morning.
