Ther. 48o TUES. NOV. 8th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Election day. I went to the
store & P.O. before dinner. After
noon Kate Stabler was here to
consult me. Mrs Wetherald bringing
her. Towards evening Willie
came & took me to Olney to
the election, after taking
supper with us he went back
to "Fairfield". I gave Mrs Hazen
a certificate of vaccination
for Harry Saunsenig.

Ther. WED. NOV. 9th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Clear & pleassant all day until
towards evening when it clouded
over. Edwd went to "Fairfield" in
the surry intending to leave it
there and return on horseback
but will probably remain until
tomorrow. I went to the store &
P.O.. Afternoon I went to Hurliban's
and he cut my hair. I
worked at clearing out the shed
back of the stable, ready for
a load of straw which Henry
Miller is to send me shortly.
