Ther. 32o SAT. NOV. 12th, 1898 Wind N.W.
This was the coldest morning
we have had so far this fall
ice formed 1/2 an inch thick in
some places. It has been a beautiful
day however, but some what
windy. Allan Farquhar sent
me a load of hay. Afternoon
Harriet & I went to look for
mushrooms in J Stablers
meadow, but without success not
finding a single one. Hallie
Lea called to see us, riding
her bicycle. We were disappointed
at Willie & Fanny's not
coming to spend the night
with us. Harry Easton's wife
presented him with a son last
night. I was called out of bed
after retiring to put up medicine for
Kate Stabler. Florence Hallowell and
Harry Wetherald coming for it.
