Went to the store & P.O. morning
& afternoon. Fixed trough in the
stable and did some other tinkering
Afternoon Lizzie Scott was here
to see Dora. After supper I
went to Fairall's office.
Astronomers predict metioric
shower for tonight & tomorrow
night.

Ther. 38o TUES. NOV. 15th, 1898 Wind N.W.
The astronomers were mistaken
in their calculations as to the
metioric display for last night, at
least so far as this neighborhood
was concerned. This was Herbert
Kirk's wedding day in Philadelphia.
It has been a beautiful day and I
hope will be ominous of a happy
married life. He certainly has
our best wishes & sincere "God speed"
in his future life. I went to the
P.O. Afternoon "Snood" Thompson
sent us another cord of oak wood.
They butchered their hogs at
"Fairfield" today and had a nice
day for the purpose.
