Cloudy & Rain
Ther. 50o FRI. NOV. 18th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Damp disagreeable day. Willie
borrowed "Charley" horse & drove over
to "Fairfield" for some sausage he had
sold in the village, after his return he
changed horses & took Fanny & baby
to "Fairfield". We burned out the
chimney on the east end of house
About noon it commenced raining
steadily & continued up to bed
time last night. Towards evening
I went to the P.O. recd letter
from Mrs Corregan enclosing a
Postal Money Order. After supper
I wrote in reply enclosing receipt
& mailed it giving it to Warwick
Stabler at toll house.

Cloudy & Clearing
Ther. 50o SAT. NOV. 19th, 1898 Wind N.W.
I took the horses to F Clark's shop
to be shod but he had "gone to town".
Gilbert T Smith called and I examined
him as to the result of an operation
performed upon him several years ago
at Johns Hopkins Hospital and wrote
to the Hospital of the complete success
of operation for radical cure of Hydrocele.
Went to the mill for flour. Mailed letter
enclosing money order to Daul, Green & Co.
N.Y. Towards evening I went to the
mill for some corn for the horse.
Have had a headache all day and
feel quite unwell.
