Snow Rain & Drizzle
Ther. THURS. NOV. 24th, 1898 Wind NE & N.W.
The ground was covered with
snow this morning & it has
continued snowing more or less all
day & part of the time drizzling
rain until towards sun set
when it cleared off. Thos. S
Stabler left for home after
breakfast. Edwd Easton was
here and sawed some wood
for us. I commenced blanketing
my horse in the stable
for the first time this winter.
I went to the mill for corn
& screenings. Edwd went to the
P.O. I did not go up into the
village at all today. Saml
Bond Sr. called & left some
carpet rags for Willie. Wille
telephoned from Brighton whilst
we were at supper, asking about
the rags & c.

Ther. 24o FRI. NOV. 25th, 1898 Wind N.W.
Quite cold this morning & some
wind, which makes it feel colder
than it is, wind blew all last night
"John" came (with his horse) to
breakfast and went to Mary Gilpins to
get her wagon & harness and (driving
both our horses) went to Laurel
for a load of coal for us, leaving
here at 9-20. o'clk and getting
home at 4-45 p.m. & we had
him unloaded & the wagon
sent home before supper.
Willie came & took supper
with us.
