Ther. 30o TUES. DEC 6th, 1898 Wind Variable
Much colder this morning
the ground frozen hard.
Edwd & Dora came home from
"Fairfield" before lunch time.
Sister Harriet called, having
come over with Annie Lea
to Mrs Robison's on "millinary"
business". I was not at home
having gone to the village for
the mail. Afternoon I went
again to the village.

Ther. 30o WED. DEC 7th, 1898 Wind N.W.
Clear & frosty again this morning.
I walked to Ashton & rode
back with William Parker: who
overtook me as I was returning
he spent an hour or two with
us. Afternoon Edwd & Harry
Fairall worked at putting up
the wires for their telegraph
line. Willie came in and took
supper with us. I went to the
atore & P.O. morning & afternoon.
