Ther. FRI. DEC. 16th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Willie & Fanny went back to
"Fairfield" after breakfast, I went
to Oldfield's & to the store & P.O.
Afternoon Edwd went to "Eldon"
"Athelwood" & "Fairfield" & telephoned
from Brighton that he would not
come home tonight, but would
bring sister Harriet from "Eldon"
tomorrow morning to spend
the day with us. I went again
to Oldfields towards night.
Harry Fairall came to the office
& fixed Edwds telegraph "key
& sounder". Anna Lea called
this afternoon.

Cloudy & Rain
Ther. 30o SAT. DEC. 17th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Cloudy & threatening this morning
commenced raining at
about 9. o'clk & continued on
until towards evening when it
cleared off. Edwd came home
without his aunt Harriet
the weather being unfit for
her to come out. I went to
John Oldfield's this morning.
Dr Brooke was also there
I went again after dark &
to the store & P.O. Samuel
Oldfield came back to the
office with me this evening
for medicine for his father.
