Cloudy & Clearing
Ther. 32o SAT. DEC. 24th, 1898 Wind S.E.
Cloudy more or less all day
but the scen set clear, making
a beautiful appearance in the
clouds. I went to Oldfield's
several times during the day
and evening. Edwd & Dora went
to call at "Athelwood" before
dinner. Afternoon I rode down
to Ashton with Wallace Bond
& walked back. Lizzie Scott
called. Recd letter from
Mrs F Tyson am delighted to
hear that he is "much better".
Was called to see F Cooks wife
after dark.

Clear & Cloudy
Ther. 30o SUN. DEC. 25th, 1898 Wind
Christmas Day.
Willie came after me before
breakfast to go see the baby
who seemed more poorly than
when I last saw her. After going
to Frank Cook's & Oldfield's. I
went with him, calling at "Eldon"
to see sister's Beulah & Harriet.
As we came back I called to
see Lizzie Tyson. After lunch
Edwd drove up to church at Brighton
& to "Fairfield" & home to dinner
at 6. o'clk. I went again to Oldfield's
before dark. After
dinner Willie went back to
"Fairfield" by moonlight. Saml
Oldfield was here in evening
for medicine for his father.
Dora has been suffering with head
ache & was quite sick this after -
noon.
